'Drastic' shrinkage in Arctic ice

This article suggests that in the last few decades, we have seen summer ice shrink by about 0.7% per year. Scary thought! Why not take a look?

Hi Kathryn

This is an excellent blog so far. You have kept it up to date and fresh with good articles linked to what we're doing in class. I especially like the articles on the Global Water Crisis which ties in very closely with what we're doing in class. Try and use some quotes from the articles in your Blog as a way of attracting people to the link.

Have you thought about a link of information on the Hydrological cycle and Drainage Basin System?

Also have a look at the brilliant website Earthweek which can be found at http://www.earthweek.com/

It has very recent articles on geographical issues around the world and can even be printed out as a pdf.

Keep this up and thank you for your comments on everyone else's blog!
